    Open the disk image and drag Amlistening into Applications. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens like any other app. Intel Macs are not supported.

  • Windows

    64-bit installer

    Download 0.2.19

    Run the installer. It installs for your user account and lets you choose the folder.

    Windows may warn that the installer is from an unknown publisher. Choose More info, then Run anyway.

  • Linux

    64-bit AppImage

    Download 0.2.19

    One file that is the whole app, with nothing to install. Make it executable with chmod +x, then run it.

After you install

    Open Amlistening

    It opens with no project and no sign-in to fill in.

  2. 02

    Download a model

    In Settings → Transcription. It downloads once and stays on this machine; it is the one setup step that needs a network.

  3. 03

    Create a project and press Record

    The transcript arrives line by line as you speak.

No account is needed to download or to record. Free is 10 takes of 5 minutes each, and Pro lifts the caps and imports traces. Signing in is only how a Pro licence reaches the app, and it never uploads a recording.
